Why We Love Supporting the Reno Rodeo Foundation

At Swizzle, we get pretty excited about projects that make a positive impact in our community. That’s why working with the Reno Rodeo Foundation has been such a rewarding experience for our team.

If you’ve spent any time around Northern Nevada, chances are you’ve heard of the Reno Rodeo Foundation. They do incredible work helping children and families throughout our region through programs that provide clothing, books, scholarships, meaningful experiences, and support during some of life’s toughest moments.

While we may be known for creating custom merch, we’re also big believers in using creativity to support organizations that are making a difference.

One of our favorite projects with the Reno Rodeo Foundation has been bringing their mascot, Rowdy, to life through illustration. If you are familiar with Rowdy and his friends, you already know he is full of fun and personality.

Creating artwork for such a beloved mascot was the kind of project that reminds us why we love what we do. It’s always fun when a character can help tell an organization’s story and connect with the community in a memorable way.

We’ve also had the opportunity to help with merch for the Foundation. There’s something special about creating products that not only look great but also help spread awareness for a great cause. Every piece of merch becomes a conversation starter and an opportunity for more people to learn about the Foundation’s mission.

But our appreciation for the Reno Rodeo Foundation goes far beyond the artwork and merchandise.

We’re continually inspired by the programs they support throughout Northern Nevada. From helping children entering foster care receive brand-new clothing and essentials through the Denim Drive, to creating welcoming Reading Rooms for children in family court, to awarding scholarships that help students pursue their dreams, the Foundation’s impact reaches thousands of local families every year.

As a local business, we believe strong communities are built when organizations, nonprofits, and businesses work together.

The Reno Rodeo Foundation is a wonderful example of that spirit in action.

Their commitment to helping children and families throughout Northern Nevada is something we’re proud to support.

We feel fortunate to play even a small role in helping share their story, whether that’s through a Rowdy illustration, custom merch, or simply cheering them on from the sidelines.
