Lisa Cook

Lisa is Swizzle’s Creative Strategist and design phenom. Lisa comes to Swizzle, along with our newest office mascot Ranger (update 7/11/2023 sadly with very heavy hearts we announce that we lost Ranger. Ranger you were a good boy and we all loved you very much). Lisa brings 25 years of design and promotional experience to the team. Her role was tailor made for her bubbly energy and constant stream of ideas, not to mention her quick and witty comebacks. With both a graphic arts and photography background, Lisa is a dual threat. Her dedication to mastering her craft has allowed her to become one of the region’s most sought-after artists. Native to the Reno area, Lisa started her first business — Blue Moon Promotions — with her brother Martin in the flannel-drenched year of 1993, quickly gaining a well-deserved reputation as a creative powerhouse. Blue Moon sold in 2006, and Lisa continued on with the new owners until 2019, when she formed Swizzle.

Around the office, Lisa boasts what could quite possibly be the world’s strangest playlist, which can range anywhere from the Rolling Stones to Madonna, Frank Sinatra to Eminem, and everything in-between. When Lisa isn’t helping Swizzle provide artistic services with originality, she loves baseball (go Aces and Giants!), live music, and anywhere that allows her to take Ranger along. As a Northern Nevada native, Lisa also enjoys giving back to her community by working with a number of nonprofit organizations.

Lisa has a knack for helping clients find promotional products that match their brand and events. Like the rest of Swizzle, Lisa believes that promotional products shouldn’t be the cheapest items you can find. A good promotional product is clever, original and authentically represents your brand. Ranger

update 7/11/2023 It’s with very heavy hearts that we announce that on 7/11/2023 swizzle lost a very important member of our team. Ranger you were a good boy and we all loved you very much.

Ranger is the hardest working Golden Retriever in the industry. Long before he became famous as the face of Ranger Cares, Ranger was just like any other Golden Retriever. Sure, he gets 3 bubble baths per week, eats real turkey prepared daily, and has had more PAWdecures than Paris Hilton, but other than that, he is just a normal, humble dog. He works hard to keep team Swizzle happy, on-task and remind them to go outside and have fun every once in a while.

Ranger is retired from his former life as a therapy dog, where he served a number of years in organizations such as Paws 4 Love. Ranger’s job was to bring joy to others and he would go to hospitals, airports and schools to help people deal with grief and anxiety. One time his job was to lay in a bookstore all day while kids took turns reading to him.

Now Ranger spends his free days at any baseball game, outdoor event or golf course that has a “dog day.” You can also find him at Swizzle several days a week, where he often lies so still and sleeps so soundly that most people might not even notice him until they pull out food, at which point Ranger instantly wakes up and makes his presence — and love of food — known.

Hannah

Born into an Air Force family, Hannah has never spent too much time in one place. From the soaking up the beautiful beaches of the Florida Gulf, to drifting cars in Japan, to drinking all the beer in Germany, Hannah has enjoyed traveling and experiencing different cultures. To support her adventures, she has worked in retail, childcare, the Army, and now, best of all, Swizzle. The best part of her job is listening to the always-funny office banter, and loving on Ranger every chance she gets. In her free time, she loves taking her two crazy dogs to the dog park, hiking, and cooking with her husband.

Editor’s note: Hannah casually brushed over a couple of key facts. 1. She served in the Army and was stationed in Iraq — she is a total badass. 2. She was brave enough to return from serving her country and start taking college classes super late, and this is hard to do. 3. She keeps Swizzle running smooth and is loved by all.

Oakley

Oakley’s favorite activities are running around the dog park, chasing balls, playing with the hose, and wrestling with her sister Roxie. She is a very talkative girl who wants everyone to know when she is in the backyard in case they want to drop by for treats. Speaking of treats, she has never met one she doesn’t like, and is the official treat taster of the house.

You will never be lonely when Oakley is around since she loves her family and wants to be with them all the time. Oakley loves belly rubs, is full of love and is the sweetest girl!

Monica

Longtime friend- and Fan-of Swizzle and Ranger, Monica jumped at the chance to be part of the Swizzle team when the opportunity presented itself earlier in 2021!

Monica brings over 21 years of unique and creative industry experience with sales and account management on various levels of the advertising specialty industry from manufacturer to end user. Creating great relationships with her clients by taking the time to understand their business and marketing needs is where she thrives.

Native to Northern Nevada, and well-traveled through the west coast, Monica and her husband Brian love to spend their free time traveling, wine tasting, and hiking and exploring with their two dogs. While at home in Reno, they love hosting game nights with friends and family, discovering new varieties of scotches and sipping rums, and creating funky pandora stations.

Monica hopes to soon be a great golfer for team swizzle, so she has fast learned that since joining the Swizzle team, her golf clubs should never be too far out of reach.

Many years spent part time bartending and hosting karaoke has attributed to her fun-loving spirit and quirky sense of humor. Monica’s eclectic taste in music has proven to be a great fit with Lisa and Hannah’s and you can sometimes even catch her doing a jig or singing a tune.

Sammy

Sammy (AKA Hamdog)

Sam started out on the streets in Phoenix. Little did he know, it wouldn’t be long until he was a west coast travelin’, trail-blazin’, bed-hoggin’, best snuggler a single girl could have kind of dog-until the single girl got hitched… and Hamdog, finally got a dad, and siblings.

Now this boy spends his days barking at birds, playing with his sister Gizzy, and waiting to meet any and every person who walks by the house. After all, he is a people person dog, and prefers to be on a lap or keeping toasty while lying in front of the fireplace during the winter months.

He loves to pose for pictures, as long as he gets lots of pets on the head. Did someone say “dog modeling”?

Mike

Mike is a native Nevadan, UNR and Aces fan and all-around fun guy that everyone wants to hang out with. Mike makes sure everything gets where it’s supposed to be for Swizzle and when he isn’t delivering your merch you might find him at the Reno Air Races, gold panning in the Sierras or building sand sculptures on the beach in Maui.

Next time you see Mike look to see if Savana is copiloting, she keeps him on his toes and on time!

Savana

Savana was rescued in 2017 and now happily resides at the Phelps residence where she rules the roost. Savana enjoys long walks, chasing anything that runs from her and rides in the truck with Mike all over the Reno area. She is the office flirt who always wants to be the center of attention and get all the pets.

She dislikes shifty cats, swindling squirrels and has a sneaking suspicion the mailman is spying on her. Guilty pleasures include secret treat under the table and binge-watching football.

Savana's Bio

Monique

Monique is our resident mental health expert, and helps us keep the Swizzle team sane. Just kidding, the team doesn’t need therapy, but she really is a Dr. and works part-time as a Licensed Psychologist in addition to being Swizzle’s newest team member.

Monique met Lisa 25 years ago when Lisa designed a band logo and merchandise for Monique’s rock band. They’ve been friends ever since. Having always been interested in Marketing, Monique made the mid-life decision to join Swizzle and learn the business from the inside, with the support and expertise the Swizzle team has to offer.

Monique has a diverse range of experience that makes marketing such a great choice for her in her second career. Her psychology experience is helpful in understanding how consumers think and behave related to marketing decisions. And, being a songwriter and musician, she has a creative side, which is an asset for brainstorming ideas with clients about their brand. The title Creative Solutions Specialist is very fitting, and Monique cannot wait to help with your next project.

Paisley

Paisley is the smallest and newest of the office dogs at Swizzle and in the Stanfield home. She has an older doggie sister Ginger, two kitties, and 9 chickens she likes to boss around. She is a pound puppy adopted in 2020 because of her cute ears and adorable personality. She’s still on the naughty list for eating raisins in 2022 which cost her mama massive vet bills but she is worth every penny!
